Curves over finite fields
Prerequisite: some knowledge of algebraic curves and/or algebraic geometry
Abstract: We shall treat the basic theory of curves over finite fields. Topics include zetafunction, Hasse-Weil and its improvements, maximal and optimal curves, curves with many points, asymptotics, towers, modular curves, relation with coding theory.
